    I was asked to video a graduation for a close friend’s daughter. My Canon HD mini-camcorder is light enough to handle, but the picture can be distracting with even the slightest movement. Being the novice cameraman that I am, I purchased the monopod to steady the picture, perfect for events that may have a guest speaker that may speak for 15 or 20 minutes. I haven’t used a monopod before and was pleasantly surprised by the ease of use and the sturdy construction of this model. I would recommend this product for anyone videotaping an event, wanting the steadiness of a tripod with the freedom to move.
