    I bought this Tripod with the 3-way Pan/Tilt Head on 4-13-2010.

    When the box arrived it had everything as specified in the box with the exception of the Pan/Tilt Head.

    I called Adorama and they said, there is no such combination. I was required to send my order back and purchase another set for an additional $29 to get what I originally ordered here. What they are sending me is a different 500DX Tripod (evidently there are several) and a 3-way pan/tilt head.

    Keep in mind that this was an Adorama sale through Amazon and therefore is not an Amazon error this is an Adorama error and Amazon can not speak to other companies on your behalf. Amazon was very apologetic and told me if it had been an Amazon stocked item they would have immediately made good by sending me the missing part. Be aware of where your item is coming from when you order. I have made 100′s of purchases through Amazon and have always been very well taken care of. You have a satisfaction guarantee when you purchase an item that is stocked by Amazon.
